Issue 8 of ABR - which is with the printer as I type - has a Morocco special with 17 pages packed with info and advice from the experts and first hand accounts of trips to the North African country from riders aged from 18 to 72.

That should be absolutely excellent PhilinFrance!
Me and my friend Ricard here in the south of Sweden has gone so far as to selling our old bikes, an XT 660 X SM (mine) and a KTM 990 SM for the better good.
My choice fell on the V-strom & Ricard picked your favorite the XT 660 Z so now we plan he trip although we´re not shure how far to go?

All the way to Dakar or?

Sometime around may should be the time to go anyhow and leaving Europe in Algeciras near Gibraltar and taking the boat to Ceuta.

What about VISA´s for Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauretania & Senegal?

Sounds like a great trip , and hopefully this new section will help with others answers, you don't need a visa for Morocco but i don't know about the others
The beging of May would be a good time to go as Europe's warming up and Morocco wont be to hot !!!
Haven't been to Ceuta but Tanges Med is all but new and very easy to use, just be prepared to show your passport 3000 times:laugh:
