Bruges on a 1957 bike

Post by Paul_C »

Not a huge achievement but I recently rode from Burton to Bruges on my 1957 Matchless G80.
Raising awareness for Prostate Cancer I spent two days getting there using mainly minor roads. I spent my first night in a hotel near Horsham, then two nights in Bergues, a few miles inland from Dunkirk.
I'm still looking forward to a fine after straying into a bus lane in Bruges. The Matchless only let me down once. Spluttered to a halt at some traffic lights. Quickly traced back to the points being waterlogged following a heavy shower.
So far I've raised over £700. If you feel able to contribute the link is below. Thanks
