Burt of RallyMoto also has a mousse fitting video - it is very good if using a mouse changing rig.
In the garage my time to remove old and fit new mousse and tyre is about 15mins, without cutting corners. 8-)

Rob- you brought me a desert mousse to fit into a 140 enduro tyre but onto a wide rear rim of a 950 ktm ! Plus you wanted a rim lock!! 🙄🙄🙄

Rob- you brought me a desert mousse to fit into a 140 enduro tyre but onto a wide rear rim of a 950 ktm ! Plus you wanted a rim lock!! 🙄🙄🙄
I seem to remember that we lost a battle with a fat mousse and an even fatter and stiffer Mitas C02 tyre? I think we ended up splitting the bead on the tyre. I remember RBJ really having to give it some fierce welly to get it on. I wasn't any use at all :lol: .

:lol: I did indeed, but it wasn't a wide rim. I learnt the hard way, as I recall i(we) left the rim lock skewed. :lol:

Done many mousses since with no problems, so the RBJ training worked. :D Rob.

I used to think people talked a lot of unfounded bollox about mousses over-heating and expanding, when used hard on road in hot conditions.
Then this happened to me at 80mph on my KLX450r….
