Re: ISDE 2023 Argentina
She had to retire with heat exhaustion after giving it her all...apparently only 5 of the women's teams are still running after day one.
She's gutted!

In an ideal world, they'd have got out there a week or two before and done a bit of hot-weather training

Re: ISDE 2023 Argentina
Let's hope Nieve Holmes and Libby Tett have better luck. Gutted for Em, she will NOT be happy!! 4 of the 8 women's teams lost a rider with heat stroke yesterday. It's 42deg out there.
Early days but the men are lying 2nd after day 1.

Re: ISDE 2023 Argentina
No guarantee though - even the Brazilian, Bolivian and Colombian mens teams had riders pull out yesterday because of the extreme heat.Richard Simpson Mark II wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 11:08 am In an ideal world, they'd have got out there a week or two before and done a bit of hot-weather training
