Crit'Air for Euro 5

Hi folks, I have been enquiring about a Crit'Air cert for my Euro 5 bike but keep hitting the proverbial brick wall. On the official site it just says that Euro 5 stickers are not available for motorcycles yet. I tried contacting them but it does basically seem that if you have a bike 2018-on you can't get a cert. All seems a bit strange. Any ideas/experience anyone!!!!! Cheers, PB

I’ve a Crit Air sticker for my 2022 ninja 1000sx. I applied on the official French site. On the application form, where there is a drop down list of Euro 3, 4 and 5 etc. leave it blank. Continue to fill in the remainder of the form.

The stickers don’t state which Euro version you have. They are CRIT Air 1, 2, 3 etc. The higher the number the more polluting.

From memory, Rouen excluded vehicles of CRIT Air levels 4 and 5 from their zone, when I was travelling through Rouen.

Google maps routes seem to state if you are passing through a crit air zone and link to the relevant city’s information on this (in French). Google Translate was very helpful.

Just leave that bit blank and they’ll decide

I recently rode around Rouen because my 1993 R1100RS doesn't comply--a right PITA that requires careful navigation on D roads. Does anyone have any experience of just ignoring it?

Rouen seems to be a Bermuda Triangle for even sat nav navigation. We’ve got stuck in it for about an hour on two occasions, just going round in circles.
