SWM RS 650 R.

Post by SteveWat »

It’s been a while since I posted on here. But I’ve just bought a new to me SWM RS659R.
I’ve literally just unloaded it off the trailer and run it around the field for 3 minutes.

Anyone got/had one?
I fancy doing some travelling on it, has anyone used theirs for some trips?
Any tips?
Cheers
Steve

Very nice that :)
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Nice looking bike.

I don't think there's been a UK importer since 3X went under but spares can be had from here

Thanks Gents.
Congratulations to the previous owner, they put the bits on I’d have put on.
Rear plate for a rack/Bag/Top Box,
Riding lights
Big Bash plate
Double USB port.
Bark Buster-Type hand guards
It’s been well looked after, no obvious signs of road rash or off road spills.
6000 documented miles with full up to date service history.
I’m chuffed.

NO problem i should have put a holding deposit on it ! , i would be interested in what you think of it as i've been thinking of getting one for about 18 months but not seen one for sale less than 100 miles away.
Hope you like it, happy trails !!

Came across a couple on two of these whilst in the Picos last year - they were doing the Spanish & Portuguese TET on them.
