Wales Vs Ireland 1/4 Final Rugby event on the Saturday.
Wales Vs Ireland 1/4 Final Rugby event on the Saturday.
Thought best to start another thread rather than bog the other one down.
I've called the pub and they do have a TV but not Sky Sports (not an issue as it is not on SB anyway) - asked about 6am open for the game. I will have to speak to the owner who is calling me back at 5pm today
If not then they will find out from the other local pubs who is putting the game on at 6am with perhaps a big screen.
Shall update after 5pm

Good man James. Do I need to ask who you're supporting? I'm hoping both teams play to their full potential, in which case I reckon Wales could just edge it. Close call though.

Come on Waland! No, go for it Ireles! Being born and bred in the Welsh valleys, but of true Irish stock (from both parents) I hate this fixture!
Perhaps I'll just support the ref!

Update
I’ve spoken to Janine, the pub owner and she is very helpful and wishing to help us out. She does have a few concerns about how many would wanting to watch it and noise levels as she would have guests and not sure if they would be with the rally or not.
So, a quick friendly chat on Friday night is the order of the day me thinks and we shall see where the lands lies.
Even if she feels she could not do this for us she will be looking into if anyone in the local area is running the event. Either way we are on for the game
I shall of course being cheering on the Fighting Irish If both play to the full then it will prove to be an excellent game! :woohoo: Blood, spit and tears - I think it is going to come down to something silly like school boy errors in the heat of the moment....can't wait

Quiet word should do the trick...and spending a few quid on Friday night of course help sway the landlord. Janine is the key - I vote ewe have Alun woo her with his suave welsh charms...
