Hello queries for those with knowledge of the Zumo 590, My primary navigator is a Montana 600, but sometimes I like to run a second GPS, this was a Zumo 550 but my mounting brackets are all kaput and now discontinued so looking for an alternative. Purpose for the second unit is to run a second type of map, in a zoomed out setting for a bigger picture, music, redundancy, these features are normally only important on longer continental spins. So questions are,

• do they all come with preloaded city navigator Europe, will they run another map (OSM) off the card so just a matter of selecting either off the menu ?

,

• Will they run tracks as an alternative to routes?

• Are they compatable with basecamp?

• I am correct in saying they will not run Discoverer?

• Are they robust and reliable?

I rarely run routing so algorythems are largely unimportant to me, any other thoughts/comments ta very much.
