As most guys on here are in their 40's/50's, how about the re-birth of 'Our Tune' as done previously by good old Smashy himself Simon Bates! Instead of partner relationships, how about sad tales of bad 'offs' and sad tales of your blessed bikes engine failure in the middle of nowhere etc ;-)

Possibaly, if not already, and if not, why not  of a Stolen Bike Section, from around the British Isles B)

Definitely, too, a Justin Bieber section...

see i knew it was no mistake posting up.

well our tune?

that could be something to work on especially if the individual has an adventure anectote to launch the tune like sort of?

justin bieber spot?

his agent just got off the phone and as much as he would like to help he dont like ktm's

shame as im sure the q&a sesh would have been interesting;)

re the stolen bike section , we did this to death on an hourly bulletin but sadly too few took up the offer of letting the world know ..

keep em coming !!

How about getting Alun to talk about some of his adventures or his ethos behind the ABR Magazine / Forum etc .

I would definitely tune in to hear that ..

If the topics here cover what adventure bikers are into then the programme should be compiling a "which rally" top 10, which obscure landscape feature to photograph your bike next to and a pets corner of dog pictures (great radio feature).

Nothing wrong with the "Our Tune" idea, you just need to get the right angle for it. I'd suggest it could be either the tune I couldn't get out of my head for three weeks while I was slogging across Russia - and here's the tale to go with it, or the song that reminds you of the girlfriend who left you for the guy in the 5 series BM because she couldn't stand any more long rides in the rain. That one could be a real tear jerker.

Whatever you do don't turn it into "which pannier". Alun's got that covered.

i have alun on my list tbh as he is more than a magazine publisher..

i would also like listeners to take more part in the show so when i have special guests they can mail me live during the sho relevant questions to be put to the guest...

the our/my tune idea has a brilliant edge to it and i could even do it to the original backing track!

dunno if i can sound like batesey.

so if you have a story sad or otherwise that leads into a special piece of music then let me know , and if its rivetting enough it could get airtime!

keep em coming chaps..

hmm trick cyclist eh?

anyone got one on speed dial?

i do try to just have a chat with my victims as its more cosy tbh.

so there will be a guest or speaker each week and it will be more focussed.

but lets not loose the pink floyd moment ok!!
