Why have they removed the three straps for support across the seat--a particularly good feature on width covered and width of the velcro central strap. They can be slung over as a pair and then simply stopped from flapping or sliding easily--and then taken off as a pair--not possible with these "new" versions?

h,i they do come with a strap and stainless steel buckles

Ah, I see, lucky chap.
I've registered my email with Lomo for contact when they're back in stock but they're saying that won't be til August. I'm heading for Morroco in September and wanted to do a bit of a shakedown trip with them before then.
Even offered to place order now to secure a set, but they didn't want to take my money for some reason.
