Having decided on a lazy Saturday Morning, Browndog and I did our own rideout, which was Craigs route but the other way round.
We left the camp site about an hour after the main rideouts had departed and rode the main road from Ullapool to Lochinver.
feeling peckish we indulged ourselves with a visit to the infamous Lochinver pie shop, I opted for the pork, apple and cider pie and being as I was starving it had gone before I thought about a photo of it, I could have eaten another and got that elusive picture, but at £4.45 a punt, no chance!
As we prepared to leave the rideout party arrived, so we had a quick chat and broke the news to Dave Copland about the prices. We left him dumbstuck and headed of for the remainer of the ride.

Then back to the camp site, and inevitably the pub :whistle:

WHAAAAT !!!!! £4.45 Ba****d pie shop charged us £9 + for a poxie mince pie, potatoes , peas and a coke ,:ohmy: my wallet felt as though it had been raped :pinch:

hmy: FFFs now that is loony :silly: INFLATION ! I know the markets and trading are down but thats taking the Pish ! for a pie and a beer.....:dry:
