NOW SOLD

28 k miles (46 k KMS!) one owner from new before me--a German lady who imported it into the UK.
The only reason for sale is that I want to try a Silverwing.
A few minor scratches due to age but otherwise very tidy.
Genuine Honda Hepco and Becker panniers, Renntec rack.
12v charging socket, LED charging indicator (on the extra dash). LED headlight
MOT until 7th Sept (genuine not extended--and can re MOT if required--UPDATE NOW MOTd for a year)
Recent front stanchions, and good rear shocks (Showa)
tyres still good for a few thousand as are chain and sprockets and battery.(battery charge condition (CTEC) fitted under the seat).
A choice of screens (tall smoked on at the moment).
Thunder race series case protectors , but with kevlar triaxial underneath for abrasion resistance (added by me cos I can!)
2013 stainless CB500X silencer(modified stub to fit-lighter and shorter--and stainless of course), but I have the original black cannon in good order which will bolt straight back on.
Haynes manual, reg/rect, complete flywheel and starter gear assembly and extractor(bought but not needed), and probably some more spares like carb stuff, air cleaner element.
original tool kit.
Looking for 1k but will haggle a bit--but not much--try me--not going to be greedy, simply realistic.
tel 07792522568--just north of Peterborough, can van to a sensible distance for fuel.
More phots on request. contact [email protected]

Cracking bike for little money and Chris is probably the most knowledgeable engineer I know so the bike will be bang on .

Great bikes, I had one some 25 yrs ago - a simple, robust, user-friendly jack-of-all-trades and master of commuting. If I was after a commuter I would have it like a shot. But I won't as my commuting days are over :) GLWS

Great bikes these, and it'll be well sorted with Chris tinkering with it for the last year or so, if only I had room in my garage. It looks well. Good buy for someone. 👍

Just another quick refresher. I'll drop the price to £850 if it temps anyone--but lower than that and to be honest its worth keeping even if I SORN it.

I'm surprised this hasn't sold, there brilliant bikes that can do real heavy mileage hence the dispatch riders choice. I knew a guy who had done over 100,000miles, with only the clutch plates changed, engine never been apart, used to thrash it over to le mans every year keeping up with his mates on sports bikes !!! Great bike glws.

Wow! That's a proper decent-looking motorbike for peanuts. Someone should just buy it as a spare/commuter, although it looks almost too nice to just muller it.

£850 doesn't buy you all that much, bike-wise, these days. Whatever, if you do go and look, don't muck about at that money - just pay it and take it away. You even get a clock!
