WK 400 Trail. I'm sure many of you will think I'm mad for buying a Chinese bike. You may very well be right.

But the size seemed just about right to me. I've just been out for my first blast (well, pootle really, it isn't very fast) and it was much fun. I love the upright riding position and the wide bars, although it does turn more slowly than my last bike - an old carb-model Fazer 600.

I'm in the south Cotswolds. After a bit of acclimatisation on country lanes I've got some gentle green laning planned. After that, who knows

I've signed up here because this site has already been very useful to me and I've barely scratched the surface. Looking forward to hanging around and getting involved.

Welcome from Devon, I think you will really enjoy mixing the green lanes with the tarmac

Welcome Paul sounds like you have a perfect machine for your needs.
And compared to Mad Chris on his C90 your are on a beast

Most people really rave about the wk400 in sure you will have no issues just keep on top of the maintainance and enjoy

Hi Paul , nice looking bike , where abouts in the Cotswolds are you , I'm in Cotswolds near winchcombe !!

I'm a bit south of you in Uley, a little south of Stroud - but we're still less than an hour from each other. A meet up for a ride over the summer would be very cool!

Sundays are (inevitably) the best day for me, but I'm self employed and can be persuaded to skive off on weekdays sometimes...

I'm sure there must be some nice green lanes we could explore too, although they would have to be very gentle ones for me, at least to start with.

I'm sure we can sort a meet up for a bimble round a few easy lanes , I'm away on holiday at moment but will pm you when I get back.
