I have two eyes, one is looking 20-30yds in front of me and one is looking at what's immediately in front :D

Has anyone ever had an MOT failure because of a scuffed up or opaque screen?

I have had a few screens deteriorate quite badly over time, mainly because of sun light damage, but no MOT tester has ever made any comment about it. It has never caused me any trouble in normal riding.

If I were considering this, I would probably try to get a secondhand screen, then paint whichever one is in worse condition and put the other one on a shelf in the garage, ready to put on if it does fail its MOT.
