I am looking for a Secondhand set of OE rear luggage to fit a Ktm 1290 s adv s
Road Trip to Russia in August .

New shape luggage not the square set which was on the T model .

Willing to travel to pick up .

You might want to reconsider looking at the older style boxes, as they're more roomy, despite not being as wide. No idea what the newer topbox is like, but I have a full set of the square ones on my 1190 and I'm keeping hold of the panniers but looking to sell the top box as I never use it.

I was looking at the slimmest of hard luggage from Ktm and the new ones was 35/30 liters

Looking at the earlier style luggage they were 42-45 liters I think . ?

Just want the line from the outside of the panniers to be close as can be to the end of the handle bars .

New shape looks more streamline at the sides too if that may help at higher speeds .

There's only 1 cm difference each side of the bike when you compare new and old (old wider). but I'd say the increase in capacity was worth the size difference. The newer style actually looks wider because of that stupid curved lid.

There are plenty of aftermarket solutions available that are much narrower again, but you need to fit racks.

Ah ... good to know the 1cm difference between them .

Looked at the racks and gravel T bags from givi but I think will stick with the OE ones

Hopefully will be able to source that style luggage now
