Re: HISS events
Hiya Stan
No, Simon's stopped doing the HISS.
But I'm thinking about a return to the same valley in Catalonia where we used to camp, maybe further up near Sort - for a week in either late May or late September/early Oct. There's a campsite there that looks promising, on the banks of the same river, with a quick walk into bars and restaurants, and very easy access to the same trails and some new ones.
Bit of interest from about 4 of us so far.
It wouldn't be anything like the same organised meeting as the HISS, and I certainly won't be getting involved in making bookings for people, handling money, drawing maps etc. It will be each organising their own trip. But if you fancy it let me know and I'll stick you in the group email I've set up, so that you can see our plans and coincide if you want to.

Re: HISS events
So would late September suit you guys better? We'd might as well try to be there at the same time, for a decent piss up.
I particularly want to do a day or two up high in Espot area and perhaps a day doing the Smugglers into Andorra, plus other days around 5-ways / Rialp / Cabderra etc.
Could be...
Me
Matt Slowly
Steve (Bowber)
Phil Jones
- and possibly meeting up with DiggerBob and Steve Chunky ??
What dates were you looking at being in the Espot / Sort area?
