Hi Jim, i did call in at Ullapool on my way from Durness to Strontian on the Friday but no one around except Ian (Mabawsa) who i bumped into.
I too hit it home on the Sunday, (400miles), you had another 50 on top, quite a day.
Great to have teamed up with you for the trip up to Buchlavie.

Great weekend with excellent weather

A big thanks to everyone who turned up and basked in the warm northern hospitality and sun

Can’t help but think all this NW500 hype has not been good for us riders that liked the empty roads up there

There was a camper van coming down the belach on the wrong side of the road, and another one doing the same on the coastal route out of Applecross

Smoo cave, a wonderful place

I was up a couple of months ago and most of the traffic on the Bealch na Ba seemed to be to Applecross, and back, as I came down from Torridon and there was hardly any traffic. But the Bealch had a few campervans and a lorry :o
