The roads in this area really nice.
Twisty, tarmac in excellent condition and almost no traffic.

My bike is very good for this type of riding. This is exactly what I had in mind when I bought it.
There is no need for horse powers here. And weight is just ....

Even on the track, you see the twists

It is important to also enjoy the nice views. Not only ride hard and keep all focus on the tarmac.

I hope for more good days.

An attempt to use a tracking app.
That worked for the main part of the route.

I can imagine that some of the delivery riders end up with some whopping mileages, I think unfortunately the bikes aren’t looked after very well as they just move them off after a few years for the next pcp deal.

I read somewhere an article about a delivery rider near London that put close to million miles on a Honda VFR in six years. He used to get used tires and chains from a dealer and really wear them out.

I’ve been looking for something a little larger for my side panniers for my Innova. My last trip down to the Pyrenees and then to the Picos area resulted in me carrying a fairly large bag on the back seat which for my type of travelling isn’t ideal.

I found a good deal on eBay with a chap selling off a pair of pretty brand new Givi trekker panniers so thought I’d go for it.
They’re really nice, you can open them up fully or just the top section which is handy for quick access items and they’re not too wide, but I can fit my tent, mat, sleeping bag, stove and more in just one pannier.
Role on some better weather to test them out properly…
