I went round this way on a long detour home after work to find the lane has a temporary closure notice on, shame because it's a lovely little ride. The lane is close to Farnsfield and Edingley but has a proper remote wilderness feel.
I've contacted the Rights of Way team at Notts County Council to try and find out how long they expect the lane to be closed - awaiting response.
Bear this in mind if you're planning on riding the area.

Hi all
I've just had an update from the Notts CC ROW officer for the area :-

• The notices are out of date and refer to a closure at the back end of last winter.

• Re-grading work is due by local landowners who also use the lane, this is due to take place in July '18.

• The council are considering a winter seasonal closure for the future which would affect all vehicles not just 4 wheelers.

If you're in the area and fancy giving it a go then the lane is open (at least for now) so go for it.
