After 2300 miles of Euro tarmac, some dirt was required!

Post by Browndog »

Hello all. :)
Arrived home from a great trip on Wednesday night but haven't had much of a chance to post up a report yet.

Felt the need to go out and see some wonderful countryside and give my Anakee 2's a taste of the dirt as they have only seen the smooth stuff so far. B)

I'll stick some pics from the trip here too.
It was a fantastic trip with Glosterboy. Weather went from 12c thunderstorms with heavy rain to 41c glorious sunshine! Too hot for me!

Glos to The Nurburgring and a flying  lap with all the camping gear loaded at 24euros a go. Well worth it. My first visit. What a place. Will be going back for sure.

Some Alpine passes. Waterproofs were required on the way down.

Down the East side of Lake Garda. Outstanding views but busy traffic all the way.

We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go Always a little further: it may be Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow, Across that angry or that glimmering sea.

Top looking trip. :)
Never enough time and so much to see and experience.

Previously a VStrom 650, and a KTM SMR 950, currently XT600E with many mods. And now a F800GS Trophy since the KTM has gone.
