Greetings,

That was very kind of you, thanks. Your file worked a treat.

I don't have a dedicated sat nav, other than that factory fitted to the car.

I am mainly interested when folks post up anything to do with the Peak District just incase they are not aware of changes to local circumstances such as TROs, etc.

You need not worry Hugh it all appears to be tarmac road as intended if you want the other 6 I can get that done, I have only been to the area exploring once and a quick look over these routes tells me as this type of thing often does they seem to pass by some crackers, seemingly to stay on A and B roads way too much (for me anyway). This one below is a cracker, Ok its a bit dirty and there is a gate or 2, surely thats what its all about? The above route goes straight past it.

Hugh.
A couple of years ago I downloaded a (free) Gpx viewer app onto my android smart phone so that I could use walking trails downloaded from internet forums. On a couple of occasions I have used it with great results, when totally lost in fog, to get us out of danger (Old Man of Coniston and Kinder Scout).
I have just downloaded the Peaks GPX route and it clearly shows 8 different sections along with my current location.
Here is a screenshot of the app in the top right hand corner and another showing the Peaks routes (although the zoomed out shot only appears to show 7 routes there are actually 8 when you zoom in on the app).

Greetings Tony,

Thanks for letting me know of a program that might work. Unfortunately my android phone is running low of memory (Huawei P8 lite 2017) but when I can I shall give it a try.

My laptop is a MacBook Air and so far as I can tell that particular app will not run on it.

I've got the P9 lite Hugh and use a 32GB SD card to store data on (photo's, pdf, documents etc.).

I see the route starts or finishes near Flash, despite being in Staffordshire, I believe it's the highest village in England.

Happy to be proved wrong.
