Been watching a lot of events on you tube etc on the atrc also known as all terrain rally challenge for those that don't no what it means. So I decided to take my supermoto and build my self a rally bike as one would say from the ground up . I no its not gonna suit everyone and not everyone will agree but it's mine and that's what I am doing

there will be lovers and haters in everything we do up to now iam loving it I get to strip the bike and build it back up what else is better to get to grips with your bike and understand what it all does and why Now I am not the best at mechanics and this is only my second build for me I say second but my other is not complete yet .but I am gonna attempt it anyway so I took my supermoto which I already had and I made the choice that this was gonna be the one for my build

Was a chop I started but just haven't finished yet .. So really will be doing both between parts arrivals etc but focusing more on the rallymoto bike as I want it to be ready for next year if possible...

First off on the build list was to start stripping it down so what better way to do it than just use the tools out of your rucksack you take along on your journeys when trail riding . So I set out to work and I most say I couldn't just use the tools out my rucksack I had to use a few others aswell . So I started taking all tank plastics and filters and seat off and laid out all my tools ready

I then stripped of the front end removing the forks wheel and yokes and removed all my controls handle bars and gadgets

Then I checked over my electricals to find a few snags along the way and problems which then had me going over schematics and drawings looking at the best way to start to rewire the bike

I found a number of gremlins along the way so I decided to start with new fuse boxes which are on order then I hit this one of the main wires running the bike surprised it never give the bike issues to be fair ..

And more wiring to rifle through it just got more fun as the minutes went by

So I decided the only way to tackle this was to take the subframe off and take all the wires out and start from scratch so out come the air box ...

and off come the subframe

first of all before anything else. I startee to give the subframe a clean and checked over and it didn't look bad at all looked clean and like new

From here I decided to take the back wheel off and do some stripping down ... so first the back wheel yea I no it needs a clean but that's for the future not now

Then I was left with the calipers but I just tried them up for now as Iam more concentrating on electrics now while it's on my mind
