So, a bit of delay in posting this ride report, due to difs in mastering photos in posts!! Unable to go on a planned trip to the Alps due to circumstances beyond my control, I reverted to Plan B, and five days in Scotland.
So Monday 4th September and I was Scotland bound on the 07.30 ferry from Belfast. Three hours later and I was on the A77 heading north, 70 odd miles laterand unto the Dunoon ferry for the short crossing. Turning right after leaving the ferry unto the A815 and to my first stop on the shores of Loch Eck, and the scenry that has drawn me back here many times

Re: Scotland - Argyll & Buteful
So, after a spot of fishing (no joy), I was back on the bike and following the A815 along the Loch Eck shore and on to Ardno where I turned right unto the B839, a nice single track road rising up and over forested hills, offering up some great views along its route. Following it to the end and a left turn unto the B828, another great wee single track road which will join the A83. Left unto the A83 and on to Inveraray for a quick meal stop

After a bite to eat and its unto the A819 to the end and right unto the A85 to Inverlochy and a left unto the B8074, another great single track road running alongside the dramatic River Orchy. This takes me to he A82 and left towards Glen Coe.
Just after Glen Coe ski centre I turn left unto an un-named road into Glen Etive, running alongside the Etive rivefr with. great Scottish scenry all around, it is easy to see why this area was chosen to film some Skyfall scenes

After about 15 miles in and the road comes to an end at a small carpark and an ideal spot for a bit of wild camping.

Waow….looks gorgeous Flintock. Loch Eck tree-lined shore looks like a scene from a movie!
I see you’ve got a proper (non-coffin) tent!
Thanks for posting....glad you'd a good ride.
