Hi Giles, I use the Wolfman enduro tank bag and at over 100 quid its expensive, but a fantastic bit of kit.
I also use the Givi EA106B (comes with straps & rain cover) on one of my bikes...not as bomb proof as the Wolfman but still, its very well made. Check it out, and for 30 odd quid its worth a look.

Hi, I went to Winding Roads at Melbourne near Derby to try out the tank banks. I ended up with this one for my CCM:

It was very similar in size to the Wolfman that they had in stock but cheaper. I have had it on the bike for a year now. I leave it on there as there is no where to carry anything on the CCM and it has worked well. It is not waterproof but comes with a cover (I think the same is true of the Wolfman)I have no idea why anyone would make non waterproof motorcycle luggage unless it was for Harleys :laugh:
I sprayed mine with tent proofing stuff and it is showerproof now.
The people at Winding Roads were really helpful and let me try various luggage options to see how they fitted on the bike.

Give Winding Roads a call, they have supplied lots of tank bags for 690's and know what they are talking about.
My Wolfman tank bag is still doing sterling work on my GS after 9 years and 50k miles.
