WARNING..French truckers strike june 2017

Yep folks them pesky truckers are causing chaos again in France...from this Sunday 4th june at 9pm if their terms are not met they will target the ports and where else they fancy....no mention if its a day of action or a rolling dispute....strange timing as its a major french holiday over the weekend inc Monday...so it will cause impact or long picnic stops as the french do
So thats me off the ferry Friday and get south or find a base with fuel as ive only a 13ltrs tank hmy: but 160mls range (thumbs) ...

Looks like if it's still in month's time, when I go to the Stella.............I'll be skirting around by Belgium/Luxembourg (arriving in Zebrugge) and then down eastern France/Swiss etc
I have a 300mile tank range though (thumbs)

Going to France next Tuesday 6th June but don't think it will bother us as we are cycling for the duration. Pedal power only for ten days.

Other websites saying it is mainly around Paris. Other areas not affected. I'm in Rhone-Alpes and so sign of strikes or shortages.

Oh the irony if you get stuffed by a truckers strike. I'm sure you'll find a way around it Russ (thumbs)
