If attending ABR Ireland please read

Post by Heff »

In the original sign up thread there is a couple of amendments as follows

There will only be one ride out - Flintlocks.

Catering on Saturday night will be £12 (not 10) as mentioned.

At this time the food options on the night will be a choice of chicken curry or peppered steak pieces with rice or chips. There should also be salad, desert ,tea or coffee. Even at £12 it's still great value

Just making you all aware so there are no surprises (thumbs)
If I'm not online.............

I'm probably out on the Bat Bike

I did think the £10 for Saturday night dinner was very cheap, no worries on that at all.

The camping rate is excellent and £22 for the 2 nights and Saturday dinner is excellent value.

We will be doing the Friday night dinner at the pub too, plan on being there late afternoon.

Flintlock's ride out looks like around 30 signed up for it and the breakfast. So what is everyone else doing?

92kk - Some just do their own thing during the day. ABR Rallys are quite a relaxed affair. Everybody usually re-groups in the pub later though :side:

I'm getting all excited now Heff. Kit all over the house and garage, in preparation for packing. Will be docking in Dublin on Wenesday, then have a bimble (get lost) around a few places depending on the weather, before getting to the campsite on Friday.
See you all soon.

Not sure where to put this one but have been watching weather map for last few days.

Weather not looking great for the weekend, got 300 miles each way looking wet going up and looking like Saturday's ride out may be heading into some not too good weather. I ride all year and well used to that but you don't see too much if its bad.

Any look at a plan B for Saturday? Kind of looking like Antrim coast early in the day is better and even though been there quite a few times one could never possibly tire of it.

Steve is looking darn good for his early arrival, nice here today.

We will play it by ear. We will head to Strabane anyway for breakfast. I will be keeping a tight eye on it & we will make the call after brekkie. Nothing is set in stone. (thumbs)
