They light the cliffs behind you at night and you can sit with a brew watching the base jumpers.

Do be aware that Switzerland has got a lot more expensive in the last year or so but shopping at the Lidl on the edge of Inetrlaken will see you right if you are happy to cook for yourselves.
couldn't get in that one for some reason :(
and I don't go any where with out the lidl locations programed into the sat nag (thumbs)

Some lovely passes just try not to stop unless you have a thick wallet.
Just along for the ride.

My brother lived in south east Switzerland for over 20 years.
Some things are very expensive but the mention of Lidl sorts that.
I absolutely loved how clean and how everything worked like a Swiss watch.
Take the trains through the Alps, you can buy discount tickets. Chur is a great place to travel from, Landquart, St Moritz, Davos and so many places are worth a wander.
Do go paragliding. Alps at 14,000 feet are amazing and nothing will ever beat doing 360s up there in sunshine because at 14,000 feet you are above the peaks with a view from horizon to horizon. I have done that in winter and its real adrenalin. Its like riding a Ducati in the air.

I stopped in Brienz in 2015. Enough bars and restaurants to keep me occupied of an evening and cheaper than Interlaken. It's an easy ride to the famous passes (Furka, Grimsel, Susten, Nufenenstrasse etc.) and Grindelwald/Jungfraujoch (thumbs)

Not a bad B&B either B)
