Post a Picture

Please don't laugh...

I cannot seem to post a picture in a post other than to attach it...

I have tried to copy and paste it, doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

hiya
once you've pressed Add File and selected your image then the Insert button should embed it into the text rather than leaving it as an attachment. Beware of high quality (large format) pictures, the site like smaller moderate quality files - better for their storage (thumbs)

Doesn't seem to work with iPads though, unless anyone know otherwise.

Edit. What happened there, there's a photo attached! Now how the hell did I manage to do that?

Hi Spike, I'm using an MacBook Air and it worked for me...

The alternative is to host it elsewhere [saving server load] and paste the link to the image using the image link shorcut above the kiss smiley in the response box.

That's what I do. It also helps remind me to upload my images rather than leaving them to fester ...

Well I now find photobucket rubbish so what other host sites can anyone recommend?

I use the media libraries on my Wordpress blogs. It's easy and free.
