To do you a good deal on a new/used bike or do what they promise and not over charge for repairs ??

friends will often bring repeat business, one of the fundamentals of business or sales people easier to sale to someone if they like you

I think that we all get to know who are good dealers and hence they get our business, the bad ones should go out of business by default.
There are very few dealers who I would trust to work on the bike, most seem to employ young lads who seem to be very rough on the bike with no mechanical background.

Generally no, I have only met one good dealer (car) who I'd have no issues buying a motor off, if only he sold bikes too

Nope. Most seem to want to rip you off or treat you like an idiot. There are exceptions though.

No i dont.....
Dealers are like any other sales people, they are there to make money. First and foremost its my cash they want to relieve me of.
At best they are economical with the truth, at worst they will lie through their arse.
