It looks nice but why don't they have the confidence in the product to sell it under the Mahindra brand name?
Re: New BSA ?
Maybe because they are known throughout Asia for manufacturing heavier plant and stinky smoke belching trucks ?? :whistle:AndyB wrote:It looks nice but why don't they have the confidence in the product to sell it under the Mahindra brand name?

And Moto3 bikes which would help sell the brand more than a relic from nearly 50 years ago.The Sarge wrote:Maybe because they are known throughout Asia for manufacturing heavier plant and stinky smoke belching trucks ?? :whistle:AndyB wrote:It looks nice but why don't they have the confidence in the product to sell it under the Mahindra brand name?

Re: New BSA ?
The future of motorcycling is in the past...
hence Ducati Scrambler, SWM, Royal Enfield, KTM's acquisition of the Husqvarna brand (while wisely ditching the actual bikes) etc etc.
So, it makes sense to buy the BSA brand...worth a fortune in terms of what it would cost to 'build' a new brand.

Re: New BSA ?
Point of order Mr Chairman - IIRC KTM "ditched" the BMW designed "Husqvarnas - not the preceding excellent Italian HusqvarnasRichard Simpson wrote:The future of motorcycling is in the past...
