I have my renewal from Ebike, who I've used for years and never had a problem with (unlike a lot of other folk, I know). I've used them because despite the online system not being available for getting-on two years (and they still take the line 'renewing the system'!) it's easy enough to phone and, mainly, because they have never before levied an admin fee for changing your bikes, if they are the same insurance risk/grouping, which is important to me because I change bikes a lot. They do now however, so I'm looking at other providers, who will also likely charge an admin fee, but who might quote me a cheaper base quote.

So, any recommendations for me to try please?

I've already googled 'multi-bike insurance comparison sites' but found none that actually do that - take all details and list providers so you can compare - as you can easily with cars or vans. So far, the sites listed don't do this and you end up having to do multiple quotes, or - and MCN is an example - they SAY that they do multi-bike, but when you complete the quote fields, they only provide for one bike! making you have to then telephone anyway, despite taking you to a supposedly 'multi-bike' quote screen ... grrrr.

If anyone can either recommend from personal choice or point me in the direction of a true multi-bike online quote facility, I'd be much obliged, as it will save time and hassle.

Thanks for that information.
It shows well the issue for me - mid term change of bike costs a whacking £50 arrangement fee. I change my bike maybe half a dozen times in a year, so that alone would cost me more than the annual premium. The £15 Ebike charge for the same thing is beginning to look good!

Try Carole Nash, the insurance is through Aviva.
Their admin is reasonable until you make a claim when it leaves a lot to be desired but Aviva and the Legal Claims people have been good.

I use Peter James originally for oldies just when my modern(ish) bikes came up for renewal they made a reasonable quote to add them to the policy. Changes £25.
