Ducati Scrambler in Morocco
Ducati Scrambler in Morocco
I know many of you don't see the Scrambler as an 'Adventure' bike, as it's not a KTM, or a Beemer. But for me an Adventure bike is anything you have an Adventure on! Anyway, here's a clip of me on the path over the mountains between Dades and Zagora

And the trail further on, but on the same route. For those interested, the bike was running stock suspension and tyres, with the addition of an Outex tubeless kit on the spoke wheels. All I did was build a decent sump guard, fit a screen and crash bars, and chuck some soft luggage on the back. A great trip!

As you say Nick, adventures what you make it. Any photos of your scrambler on the trip? I'd imagine it's a hoot to ride on roads like that but hope you had a better sump guard.
I bet there's a few times you'd have preferred the ele though?

On the faster open trails the Fant would've been loads better. But not on rocky slow stuff, to be honest the lighter weight and lower seat of the Scrambler made it so much easier, especially as I'm a shortarse!
A mate was on a Tiger XC and on tip toes, slow rocky stuff was a bit of a nightmare for him.
