Im after something a bit smaller than my 950.

Ive had a look around and cant decide what I really want. So though Id just see whats out there that people have and want to flog.

I want something I can throw a giant loop over
Light
Something that can go about 3000 miles without a service
Electric start essential
Reliable
Budget up to about £4K.
Nothing too small, Im 6 foot 5 and 15 stone!
Will be ridden extensively off road

What I really want is a KTM 500 but think these are a tad out of my budget.....but if you have one let me know, Im pretty flexible.....

Check out my CRF 250 in the classifieds.

I'm 6'3" at 14.5 stone and its been fine for me.

You'd even have loads of change from £4k to throw at goodies for it.

I did have a look at the CRF 250 before I posted, but thought it may be a bit too small for me. Not discounting it completely yet though. Would prefer something a bit bigger.

Mike a 500 exc late 2013 (ie 2014 model) is within your budget.

btw before some smart arse pops up and says it needs servicing ever 15 hours - it doesnt. not for trail riding, 3000 miles would be absolutely fine.

Just get an Xt660R - it says enduro on the tank sticker so it must be :whistle:

Just need to find one........on a bit of a time limit with this as well.

Yeah, my KTM 950 SE also says ENDURO!

Had a TE450 in the past, ace bike. And worth considering again. Good prices as well.

What's your timetable mike? I can ask about for you

Thanks Mike, its for a trip in August, but I really need to decide in the next couple of weeks really. I have the choice to take the 950 or smaller enduro. Id prefer something smaller TBH.

If you can put the feelers out please. KTM500, Husky TE450 (449) or anything other suitable. Prefer something with a bit in oommmph for me.

My dad may also be joining me (Still thinking about it, the CRF 250 will be idea for him so sent the link his way).
