7 minutes of pain and anguish

Found a great video then post it up here. It doesn't have to be about bikes.

One of the reasons why you shouldn't go out off road on your own. Fair play though, he wouldn't take his jacket off while he was trying to get it sorted, in case it got dirty I expect. Love his little wimper at the end.
Been there done that, but with mates who could take photos and the pishe :-)) (thumbs)

Well done him, I'd have sat down and just cried for my mama. As said above, that's why I never go off road alone.

Fair play to him. He had a go at something difficult and got through it. Didn't lose his temper and probably came out of it wiser.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

PS getting stuck riding alone - been there, done that - couldn't turn the bike around on what turned out to be a dead end - down there ...

I've never heard of that before, is it a joke or a genuine way to deal with being stuck? Either way I would explore every other possible solution before doing that...

I've been stuck only once when I was out on the trails on my own. I strayed slightly off-piste from a very familiar route down near Chievely, Berkshire and hit at speed what I thought was a very, very large puddle in at the side of a field just off the byway. It was actually a farmer's slurry pit  . My KTM 450 sunk nose first within a few metres and I struggled for about 20 minutes to get it out. I was knackered and very smelly :silly: .
