Trail loop around Thetford Saturday 23rd April.

Hi,

A couple of us are doing an 80 mile trail loop around Thetford a week Saturday the 23rd April.

We'll meet/fill up at the BP Garage London Rd, Brandon IP27 0ER and head out for say 10:30am

I'm interested, but when you say trail, how off road are we talking? I've done a bit of green laning in the past, but on the whole I'm quite new to it. Looking to start doing it more though, learning the lanes and generally improving my riding off road etc... What sort of difficulty is the route? I'd hate to hold you up!

Tricky to answer as all depends on level of experience ... but Norfolk's flat so its not too tricky, if you've done green laning already you should be ok. It might be tricky if wet, but we don't leave people behind/stuck :laugh: We'll help push/pick bikes up. What bike and tyres do you use?
Why not tag along and see how you get on, you might surprise yourself.
If it get's too tricky or your tiring, we can help set you on your way safely home ...

Yeh I have a gpx of it, which I normally attach to the ride report after the event.

FYI.

I did a run out in Thetford last night. Started at Icklingham up over the heath towards the monument and then across to Euston.

Some of it is still very wet and slimey. Even with TKC80s it was slippy. Would not attempt it on more street biased tyres unless you ride real slow (thumbs)
