while ive been looking around for another adv bike ( see my other post on triumph explorer) I decided to do some upgrades to the varadero, its prob only worth 2k so I would rather keep it as it owes me nothing,
so fitted the following
1- shindengen mosffet reg/rec
2- new fork oil
3- rox 2" anti vibe risers
4- magura tx fat bars
5- heated grips
6- ohlins rear shock
7- new chain and sprox
8- sw motech footrests

should keep the old girl happy for now,, till I turn up with a younger model

Looking very good indeed. Have the suspension changes improved the handling?

Nice upgrades there. I really liked my old Vara, I bet that screen, bar risers and Ohlins make it even more comfortable.

Is it my eyes or the angle of the camera on the last photo? cos that centre stand angle does not look right, looks like the bike could roll forward with the slightest of pushes.
