Cheers iron cage driver

Post by Teflon Jnr »

Thanks to some buffoon in a car not seeing me and pulling out on me 15 feet away causing me to anchor on the bike slid I manged to keep it up by using my left foot and some unknown magic I was able to get upright and avoid a collision after a visit to the a&e I've broken my wrist keeping it all shiny side up to add insult to injury I use my bike too commute as it's about ยฃ40 a week cheaper than the car so I'm out of pocket bright side though the bikes all pretty as usual

Congrats on not being dead which by the sounds of it could well have been your fate. All cagers should sit the CBT, it may make them more aware of us bikers, I know it did for me! ;)

I've been saying since I passed my bike test only 3 years ago that all new drivers should have to sit a CBT test.

They should also have to spend a few hours in the cab of a fully laden Articulated vehicle, just to see how much further the stopping distances are over a car and to also understand exactly what blind spots are.
