ABR as it should be.
This to my mind is what ABR is meant to be about, not how much bling you ve got on your bike, or even what bike you ride.
It's about going somewhere not knowing where it will lead you or if it's possible. Yes this is a enduro bike (11 years old now) but as I will show later this month it to will travel with luggage over unknown terrain when my self and Adrian attempt to ride the Stara Palannia ridge line from the start on the Serb boarder to the Black Sea.
This was filmed a few days ago riding in the Teteven area of these mountains.

Wow, to me that looks pretty scary and I'd never attempt something like that on a bike.!!!
Amazing riding there, and I think the one thing it does show is that ABR means something different to everyone.
Cheers

It does not matter at what level you do your adventure, as you say it will be different for all but it should be an adventure.Godspeed wrote:Wow, to me that looks pretty scary and I'd never attempt something like that on a bike.!!!

Rather than ABR - That's what the TRF is for B)

Re: ABR as it should be.
That was a lumpy old climb, not hard on a decent enduro bike at stop go speeds. The steps at the end of the video looked to be the real tricky bit.
Would make a fine trials section though.
Still, a nice seven minute video of the climb up the hillside. I bet the local farmer took longer to get his cows up there.

Agree, bit of off roading, if it floats your boat do it...Bernard Smith wrote:Rather than ABR - That's what the TRF is for B)

You are of course joking? The TRF don't do adventure of any kind. They are in my humble opinion the cause of most of their own problems.Bernard Smith wrote:Rather than ABR - That's what the TRF is for B)
Riding in massive groups on the same trails week in week out is not adventure, all it does is piss off the locals.
They are a pain in the ass, I had been riding in the uk for years and never had a problem till they started doing there so called organised outings.
