Had a lovely (albeit on Sunday rather wet) weekend away exploring the world heritage site[s] of the Brú na Bóinne in Meath. We took in the Knowth passage tomb complex tour as well as sites like Bective Abbey. Used Newgrange Lodge as our camping base. Definitely recommend.
Was also the first time I was able to use the GPS mounted on the bars - I'd programmed in each site's location and it took us straight there!

Re: The Brú na Bóinne
Well Flintock....it was given to me free (my sister upgraded hers, so gave me the old one), otherwise I wouldn't have specifically bought one. All I did buy was the handlebar mount and case (costing £20 in total). Does make life easier, especially when wanting to visit obscure sites!!

Great stuff there Moorso (thumbs) From one of my favourite areas to visit. If you haven't already been, you should take in the Loughcrew complex next time you are there.Amazing place!
You can get the key to enter the passage tomb from the garden centre near the car park.Well worth doing, and you get the place to yourself!(no "tourists")
