GARMIN 500 or 550

Post by Tinytots »

I've a Garmin 500 or 550 and it needs an update. Garmin are after £70 for UK and European update, is there anywhere else I can get it cheaper or free? (thumbs)

why bother, perhaps download one of the open street map products for some extra information for free and run as an alternative to cn if need be. I have a 550 not updated for 5 years bin all over Europe with it went back for an exchange unit couple of years ago so a bit fresher now, but dont see it ever getting updated

I'm gonna update mine because there's a load of new roads that my 15-year old map doesn't seem to have :-)
