JB,
exhaust pics as requested.
I removed the end and there doesn't seem to be anything inside the can.

I was expecting a long perforated baffle that I could wrap with new wadding but this is what came out of can.

Is this a standard setup ?

Looks like a Vortip or similar

Standard should be a chrome end piece, with no curved tip with 3 bolts and a large cylindrical mesh screen

Inside the cone is a removable baffle, that slides in and out

The black can is stock, the chrome end isn't

Cheers JB,
had a wee look at vortip and it Deffo seems similar in design.
I just thought the bike was a wee bit noisy for the trails, suppose time will tell.
Now, what the feck is the script with the back brake ?
It locks the wheel with very little pressure ( you can hardly feel the pedal through your boot ) is this normal ?

Check the caliper, to see if it's sticking

Adjust the brake lever, so there is more free play and you don't catch it too easily

Brakes have just had an overhaul, perhaps pedal is too high but it just seems like off or locked are the options.
You really had to stomp on
the Dommie brakes to lock the back end

Can anyone confirm if the XR has a neutral light on the dashboard ?
I can see a green panel but it doesn't seem to work.

Ok,
Could someone please tell me what this blue plastic thing is that I found dangling behind the clocks ?
It looks like it contains a PCB and several resistors.

And what's this thing that has been broken from its mount and zip tied up ?
Looks like a regulator or something and is joined to a black cylindrical object.

Thanks in advance, Jok. (thumbs)

P.S. JB, is this any good to you ?

It's a box I made to test /set the Hall sensor on my 1150GS. Now surplus to requirements and free to a good home .
