Somebody was going to sent me one of those (Jetboil) after the Jernatter but I've lost track of these damn forum names............

Excellent glad the post was useful. Does exactly what my jetboil does and very much alike except its half the price at least. Let us know how you get on with it as Alpkit gear is good kit I found (thumbs)
If I didnt already have the Jetboil which I use all the time I would have ordered one myself. Few coffee satchets, bit of long life milf and a few of those McDonalds sugars and job done.

Question for anyone who's got one of these already:

How stable are they when balanced on the gas cylinder? I'm sorely tempted to buy one but think it might need a wider base if I'm going to make a brew while still in my sleeping bag but that'd be easily done.

I'm gonna use one of those little clip on base extenders.
