Folkestone accommodation
Re: Folkestone accommodation
Try the Wycliffe, 01303 252 186 or look them up on the web. I have stayed there and they have parking out the rear of the hotel.

Re: Folkestone accommodation
If you're planning on stopping there then getting the tunnel in the morning why not go over that evening and stop in La Coquelles which is about 2 miles from the tunnel exit. The euro falling like a stone makes them cheaper and about 4 hotels share a large fenced & gated car park.

I`m with AndyB on this one, get through the Chunnel. When we used to use this route in car or on bikes we always booked in at the Ibis in the middle of Boulogne Sur Mer (not riverside one as that has underground parking shared with shops/flats) as it has courtyard parking with electric coded doors. You can even leave your soft luggage on all night.
Suppose it depends where your starting point is aswell. We are 300 miles into our trip at this point so ideal stopping point.
cheers Marc

Thats the one, if you do stop ask them if you can put your bike under the fire escape steps as they can see them all night and in the morning you will be sat admiring it while having brekkie. They also dont mind you knocking sandwiches up for your days ride (thumbs)
Lovely area for an evening stroll if your early enough in the old town/walls.
