Stumbled across a very interesting shop on the Derry Road, just outside Omagh today, a cross betwen a farm/garden / military surplus.
Could have spent ages in it

Brand new, apparently the German Police have changed their uniforms, so lots of surplus, they have reflective bits on he back and arms, removable fleece, can open down the sides, and gortex and teflon material. The owner took one and turned a hose on it, it was weird to watch, the water ran straight off it leaving the coat dry.

Anyway he was looking £100 per coat, seemed good value, would have been tempted if i had the money at the time.

Any Ireland/Norhern Ireland members passing, def worth dropping in for a look

Thats the exact ones, just as well i didn't have the money on me or i could have bought one, it was an impressive sales pitch when he took one off the rail and turned the hose on it.

For £40 its a steal.

If they can sell them with all that kit for £40 new and still make a profit, how much profit are Rukka and the like making.

If I was in the market for a waterproof jacket I would be very tempted to give this a go. If it's good enough for the German police it ain't that bad.

Cheers Dave.

The German Govt probably paid more than £40 each for them, then some lucky middleman picked them up for nothing.

Govts spend money like water.

Truly tried and tested.

I work not too far from this shop on occasions, he has a decent amount of stock in there all right.
