I was sick of my Tech 3s as from the knee down it was like i had no legs and like moon boots to walk in.
My black road boots fell apart
I want some boots i can walk in, can use on tracks and are very flexible for movement and i can also use them for 2-3 week trips as everyday boots when not on the bike
Any ideas, is there such a boot?

i use army para boots..gortex comfy and you can walk in them..use knee/shin guards..you dont slip in mudd either..

ebay is best i went up a size in med width..so room for my extra socks when its real cold..and help cool them in summer (thumbs)

Re: Which Boots
I've just bought some Forma Adventure boots - recommended to me by a few people.
I'm going on a long trip and will be wearing boots most of the day for riding and walking about - I've not had them long but so far they're comfy and waterproof - and with the price around £180 - depending where you get them - I think they're pretty good value.

Re: Which Boots
+1 again for the Forma, I have had a pair for over 12 months now and would not think twice about using them for a long walk, superbly comfortable, lightweight and waterproof..
I feel beneath the white there is a red skin suffering from centuries of taming.

Re: Which Boots
Yes i would use a pair of Alt-bergs or para style boots but you cant use them on some of the tracks as you have to use MX type style boots and as i plan to start going to the tracks near where i live i think its best to just get a pair which also i can use on trips.
I looked up the boots you guys mentioned and the infinity looks better suited to what i am looking for as only two buckles comparing to the 3 on the forma adventure boot so maybe they are less tighter and also the sole looks more off a walking boot so maybe softer to move around in compared to the forma boot.
But then the Alpinestar toucans look very comfy to for walking but at that price i think is better to go to a shop that stocks them to try them on.
Also anyone know much about the Alpinestar Scout boot?
