BMW F650/800GS Spot Lights

Just received these 2 of these bad boys today on the post. Still need to sort bracket, wiring loom and switch! Any suggestions? Anyone has any of the above for sale?

Thanks. I've also been watching that switch. It's probably what I'm going for.

Regarding mounting the lights so low it would not work for me, as they would be very exposed for the kind of riding I do. I also like to make use of the crash bars occasionally! I'll need something like this: http://www.ctmotorcycleservices.co.uk/p ... unting-bar

If it helps, I bought one of those switches in May and have since done nearly 6000 miles through all kinds of weather and it has been perfect. I also used cheap lights and mounted them on the crash bars and they too have been "spot" on (thumbs)

I'm probably a bit simple, but what's the need for the relay?

I was just going to run a wire from the battery to the lights in parallel with a fuse and switch in-line :unsure:

Not an expert but I believe the idea is that you wire it straight to the battery and the relay stops any current draw unless the ignition is on. A switch will work straight to the battery but you can forget to switch it off. You could wire it to the existing light circuit but you 'could' overload it.

It looks like it to me. There's a relay in the photograph of the wring & switch bundle.
The Givi lights come with a wiring loom that includes a switch, fuse & relay so I haven't used the Amazon switch.

R and G racing do the Denali bracket that locates them just below the beak, i bought it recently and looks really good.

You do need to check the year to see whether it fits but for 40 quid its eactly what i wanted!
