Stop and Go Repair Kit

Post by xengibez »

Ordered the stop and Go ATV kit of eBay from busters for £24.99 and this actually came as the CO2 KIT. Invoice shows £39.99 - discount which took it to £24.99 all in postage included... Great price for a little peice of mind...

The videos on line show these as really easy to use and for £25 what's not to like, I'll post a picture of my receipt showing the discount on it but can't guarantee everyone would be the same..

I bought and used one of these last year on a Metzler Torance rear for my GS. I found it easier to use than conventional plugs, perfectly effective and a lot cleaner then the horrible liquid aerosol solutions. All I would say is buy some CO2 cylinders and a linking couple to the tyre-valve.

Very quick and easy to use especially on my farm quad...........Don't ream the hole on quadbike tyres as they're quite thin even though they have a big chunky tread.

Also don't pull the mushroom plug tail when you cut it off or sometimes the plug can pop right into the tyre!

I found these in a local dealer some time back and got one for the K. Excellent thing to carry but worth getting a few spare cartridges. Discovered my brother using a cream gun [he is a chef] that he got in Switzerland.......uses same cartridges and he buys them in 10 packs for small money. In French supermarkets!!
