Should I or shouldn't I......... Well I did

Well the Sertao went in for some warranty work and a service today and they have given me a spanking new F800 shod in TKC80 tyres. My dilemma is should I get her dirty tomorrow or is that wrong with a loan bike. Soooo tempting to see what she can do.

I remember reading something on here a while back about the BMW dealer not being in the slightest bit amused that someone had taken a demo bike off road.

I've done it with a KTM dealer, they didn't bat an eyelid :laugh:

Can you afford the insurance excess if you damage it?
Trash the bike this time, might they next time not have any available?
Can the dealers take your bike out and "see what it does" to make sure its fully fixed?

Bit risky. Not your bike to trash, don't get me wrong the bike can do it but you will not have had the time on the bike to get to know it and how best to handle it.
Why not go and play on a load of nice twisty back roads, good riding without the high potential of dumping the bike.

Fairs Fair mate. You treat my machine like shit, why can't I do the same with yours?
Letting a customer have the use of a loan bike is not a free licence to abuse the machine. If the bike is returned damaged, Expect to pay for the damage. Standard rules apply. You bend it you mend it.
How would you treat a mates bike if they loaned it to you whilst yours was being serviced?
