ABR SOUTH COAST SIMMER RALLY 15/17 JULY 2011
Re: ABR SOUTH COAST SIMMER RALLY 15/17 JULY
Did anyone else bring home half the earwig population of hampshire?
Had to get the tent out to dry it as we had biblical rain on the way home and there they were, loads of em, all alive and well and relocating to London.
No mention of petrol money!!

I had several sheltering from the floods in my panniers. Nice and dry they were and had the cheek to pinch me when I gave it a free flying lesson out of the window.
Coming down here, stealing out body heat and luggage space, pushing the house prices up with their yachting ways! Destroying the tin mining industry...... hang on that wasn't earwigs.
Anyway, yes the earwigs had a camping weekend with us and seemed to enjoy it as well.

Ah....better unpack the tent then - if it ever stops raining

I would speak with the land lord at the New Inn, can be a little grump! also the roads around there are not biker friendly in the winter.
When the local club I belong to have our club nights there in the winter it's cars only to get there. :woohoo:

A big thank you must go to Jim & Co for the organisation for what was a great weekend, thoroughly enjoyed it and was made most welcome even though i eventually turned up at 12.45am saturday morning! What a welcome to meet Jim in his underpants sorting out a runaway or that should be blown away gazebo with the assistance of Teresa and Herman, great bunch of peeps.
Great ride out on Saturday despite the weather so thanks must go to Craig, Peejay and Jim for taking on the role of ride leaders and tail end charlies, excellent and most enjoyable.
Great chilli and baked spud saturday evening and good to chill out around what was the biggest camp fire on site that evening.
A fantastic weekend as i managed to knock off 5 checkpoints from the Nature rally with total mileage for the weekend standing at 937, so the bike got a good clean today and chain adjustment ready for the next trip probably round Wales for the next three checkpoints, just got to sort the photos for uploading to my rally folder.
Great to put so many faces to the names on the forum and actually meet you all in person.
To one and all ride safe and enjoy all that you do.
Tim
