Well, as others have already posted, that was a great one. Thanks to all again for doing the hard stuff and making this happen. Great to see old mates and new. Also a real blast of a ride home, pace just got quicker and quicker, and old Idris just seemed to stretch its wings.
Until next time...

A grand weekend with lots of tales--but not tall-people really do get about on the planet. Test rides of a Honley (fantastic little bike!)and some nice Kawa 800 "scrambler" eye candy. Alun and friends did a great job and it was all very relaxed.
The campsite was probably the best you'll ever get--and my solar shower made up for the lack of any running water--although I didn't try the stream, which probably would have done nicely anyway?
I managed a bottle or two of red and had a nice civilised camp (brought the little Honda in the old ambulance(van!))
A great venue with the farm really deserving a day on its own . I enjoyed the ride out and although hot when we stopped many of the lanes were nice and shaded. Alun's run stayed together with no mishaps or problems and we were back in time for another session in the marquee and around the fire.
I've just dusted the gear and bike off, and everything was pretty clean and dry--very unusual--just trying to now finish off that bottle of wine I opened late Saturday night--waste not want not!
Looking forward to Salisbury Plain.

Thanks for a great ride out on Satuday. Made it back on the V-Strom relatively unscathed.
Just wondered if anyone who went on the green lane ride and camped at the event fancied writing a short-ish ride report for the mag. Say 800 words or so; just about how it was, how they found it, etc etc.
Just let me know on here. Ta.

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

I thought I saw you making notes. Nice one. That'd be great. Just include at some point what it was like going on your first ABR rally, mention your bike, whether it was up to the task etc. And how you coped with the riding. Or just whatever you want to write really. Email me at nathan at adventurebikerider.com then I have your address as well. Cheers.

Whilst I only stopped for one night (Fri) and only really romped around the farm on Sat morning, I wanted to thank everyone for making me feel very welcome - especially Dave, Kev, Mike and Pat.
Cheers till next time!
